UFO OR OTN ?

One of the on-line knitting groups discussed the difference between a UFO and an OTN.
I guess I never really thought about it, I just assumed that a UFO (unfinished object) was something old and pretty much forgotten and OTN (on the needles) was something that was in close proximity to your knitting nest(s) and could be picked up without having to waste much time figuring out where you were.
I now realize that all of my projects are OTN. Somehow that made me feel much better. I don't know why exactly, except that I probably have ADD and not early Alzheimers.

OTN PROGRESS:
COZY: Scratched
HOODIE: No Change, still waiting for the yarn - coming up on 6 weeks (frogged-no yarn)
TODDLER LOOP-D-LOOP: 100% and delivered cross country to Oregon, waiting for pics
KARABELLA CARDIGAN: Scratched, Frogged, Ripped, Dumb
CHARLOTTES WEB: Ditto

NEW OTN:
CABLE SHRUG FROM INTERWEAVE KNITS: Karabella Cool Wool in deep purple 95%
FISHERMAN KNIT SWEATER: 25%
2 CABLE CLUTCH BAGS: 1 in Malabrigo purples 100% 1 in bulky unspun silk (dyed by me in a cherry red) 100%
CHARLOTTES WEB: 10% in Lisa Souza's silk/merino petal (formerly used for cardigan)
2 LACY SCARVES: Regal Silk varigated, 25% - Simple patterns, using stitch pattern book 100%

FUTURE PROJECTS:
Magknits Baccarat Player ?????
2 more Cable Clutch Bags 100%
2 Herringbone Stitch Scarves Never Mind

I don't think I can claim much progress, but I have a more realistic list. The only 2 items that may not be finished for Christmas are the Fisherman's sweater and the Charlotte's Web. Hey, everyone has a birthday, right?

THE KNEE
Nerve pain seems to be gone. I'm knocking on my wooden head, as I type this. Strangely, pain has subsided when I walk. Getting up and down stairs, or even from a seated position is still painful. The walking thing is huge. NYC here I come! I am so city deprived, I've started walking around in scuffy slippers and housecoats. Since my hair is curly, no rollers, but you get the picture. Time to pack my black and hit the road. YES!
